Hello there! It's time to share my Tuesday Craft. This time I wanted to use a small piece of fabric with my bicycle illustration. I made a mistake and didn't leave enough space on the edges to have a good seam border and for that reason I couldn't added them to the Etsy Store. A few weeks ago I received a Wrist Pin Cushion from my BFF and immediately I saw the little piece of fabric with my art on it on a pin cushion similar to it. It is the first time I use a wrist pin cushion and now it has become a must when I am sewing. I have some experience sewing so I didn't have to look for a tutorial to make one very similar to the one I received but I am sharing a great video that I found later which is almost exactly how I made mine. The result was fantastic ( I guess). You can be the judge! I added my name tag for a little more fun and personalized pin cushion as you can see in the second image.

Basically I used my fabric panel and a matching cotton twill fabric. In the next image you can see how I cut the three pieces for the wrist pin cushion. I also use a small piece of Velcro to make it easier to fit the wrist. My wrist is relatively thin and those were the dimensions for the wrist band. Depending on your wrist you can lengthen or shorten the band.

If you need a good tutorial for the Wrist Pin Cushion you can check the one below. I was thrilled that I found a tutorial so similar to the steps I follow for making mine.
You can make this wrist pin cushion with scraps of fabric that you may have. I don't have this size of fabric panels with my art on the store but I will be adding this design in this size very soon. I do sell a larger fabric panel with this design here and you can make any other project you may like and IT IS ON SALE FOR THIS WEEK. There are lots of other tutorial for wrist pin cushions that you could check. I am in love with the one I made.
I hope you enjoyed this post. For the time been I am only writing on the blog for the Tuesday Craft but it is an important goal for me to start writing about themes I enjoy very soon.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you who celebrate this festivity! And for those who do not celebrate it, Happy Week! Enjoy whatever you do and whatever you eat! As a matter fact, my son, who has diabetes, told me this morning: "I am preparing lots of beans for this long weekend, forget about the turkey, I AM GRATEFUL". That is what really matters, right? Anyways, I only baked a turkey once in my lifetime and I was really anxious trying to make it happen this year...Now I don't have to force myself! Great!! I will make a pumpkin dessert for my other son, wife and two daughters and of course for me and anything else they would like to eat, except the turkey!
Stay Safe! Mask Up! We are all in this Covid19 situation together but I know deep inside that better days will come! Celebrate the best you can with the COVID19 protocols ON like us, masks and social distancing!
From my heart,
Elizabeth Claire
