Hi! Times are difficult but we have to continue with life! I've been learning new things, as always, and this keeps me more busy and less anxious. One of the things I am learning is to make videos. A few years ago I made an e-course with lots of videos but it was my photographer and cinematographer son who did everything. It's time to learn, he has many responsibilities and I need to do it myself.
One of the purposes of learning to make videos is because I really want to teach all I have learned in this art journey of creating products with my art. It has been always my goal to keep creating art and not the products itself. For this reason I started to sell fabric panels on my Etsy Shop instead of the products I could make with them. I am very pleased with what people are making with them and this keeps me motivated to create more. Another decision I made to follow the same goal is to create art to sell as downloadable files in another Etsy Store. At the beginning it was created to sell kid's art to be framed and decorate babies and children's room but lately I decided to expand the offering to downloadable art that people can use in a variety of projects and products. This way people can use my art to make their products with a limited commercial use permission. I used to make and sell to stores tiles, switch plates and ornaments with a sublimation equipment and I know it is a good idea to share my art to others who have this equipment but don't make art. Also, printing the image in transfer paper will let others make T-Shirts. There are also an unlimited ways to use the art using a Cricut or Silhouette equipment. One of the easiest products you can make with this equipment are the stickers. I am excited with this new path in my art business journey because I can start with the art I already created but mostly because I can create a lot more. Adding one single product is time consuming but I am working as much as I can to grow the offerings. One of the first products I want to share is one that I named "I LOVE FALL". It is funny because I live in a tropical island and fall is not that different from other seasons except that we have more rain. Our trees do not change the color of the leaves and we do not grow those gorgeous orange pumpkins to decorate our homes. BUT.... I do love fall and all those colorful trees of the season as well as the orange pumpkins. When I was a child I dreamed of visiting a place full of trees with autumn leaves. That dream came true when my youngest son was 3 and I visited my sister in law and husband in New Jersey at Rodgers University. It was the perfect time, at the end of October, to enjoy the autumn leaves on the way to the university. I will never forget that experience. Many years later, my oldest son and wife moved to Pennsylvania and I have enjoyed the fall, the gorgeous trees and pumpkins and of course the apple cider! If you have followed mt creative path you can see that my ceramic, especially at the beginnings is highly influenced by my love for the fall colors and the autumn leaves.
Last year, I had to make a simple painting art with pumpkins for a group of homeschoolers, my two adorable granddaughters included. The class was scheduled for October and they wanted pumpkins. With the use of my new acquired IPad Pro I made a few drawings but I was not into making art with pumpkins and also I find very difficult to create with instructions. I decided to buy the art (downloadable file) on etsy. I am sharing the photo of my two granddaughters with the pumpkins they painted.

Later I was inspired with the IPad and Pocreate to paint some autumn leaves as well as some pumpkins and this is what I've got:
I painted the pumpkins and then added the leaves to create this art.
Finally I completed the project of making a pattern for fabric with the autumn leaves with white and black background.

The amazing thing is that you can buy the permission to use this art in for your gifts, cards, stickers or for the products you sell.
They look amazing on a mug, t-shirt, art print and on many other products. I made the sublimated mug below with the equipment of a friend, whom I help with all the technology issues. Isn't it gorgeous?
