It's been a while since I wrote a blog post. Many times I caught myself "writing a post" in my mind but didn't have the time to sit with my computer and make it happen. The thing is that those ideas got lost because I let them go. I decided not to be bothered about that and don't get myself feel frustrated or guilt after those ideas got lost.
In the book Big Magic, written by Elizabeth Gilbert, she said that ideas grow, ideas can get sidetracked and even grow tire of waiting. Since I read that book I decided to just wait for the right time to write and let go of what I couldn't write.
I was waiting for my new web page to be published and to have the place where all of my creative journeys will be connected. I was right to wait because many things happened and now it is the time when I feel I am walking the creative business path I am at peace with.
If you read the About section on my web page you know that I have been creating and producing ceramic pieces for more than 20 years. I am really grateful for the journey. But for me, producing means making one piece over and over again for many years and my friends, I do get bored. I worked with my thinking, my attitude, the environment that surrounds my work place, but still, after 20 years making for example the same butterflies it gets really boring and tedious.
To be extremely honest, I am healthy, I am still strong but 20 years makes a difference in our bodies. It's time to let go and let others do the production part and to focus on what I really love; design, create, draw, paint and share.
I also discovered that one of the main reasons I couldn't let the ceramic production go was because I was too attached to it even though it was hard. I used to feel guilt about letting that go. It is a longer story but at the end I took the leap to walk a different path and this blog and web page is a result of this decision.
I am really excited for this new adventure where I will share more and will interact more with the people who likes my art. In the very near future a YouTube Channel for tutorials and demos will be available, Do It Yourself Kits, Printables and more. Subscribe to my mailing list and stay tuned for what's coming up!!

The butterflies and leaves art on the web page are made out of collage papers I painted. They look a bit different from the originals because they were converted to vectors and I really love the result. Since I will be sharing more of my creative process, I have to tell you that I was inspired to create a new paper for collage using my new found "addiction", Procreate. I'll share more about this new addiction in future post.
